The old way is not the new way.
That’s what everyone’s been saying, and it’s true.
In this lifetime so much about what we believe has expanded. Every day we have the opportunity to renew our outlook and challenge our perspectives. It’s interesting learning the ways our past informs what we believe is possible for ourselves and each other. As our relationship to Self evolves so does the environment we see. This takes on the shape of our world view. This is how we can live in a world with relative abundant access to information and yet be so divided. It begins and ends with the individual.
We all wanna see the progress, but it’s all about the process.
Pilgim’s Process, John Roseboro w/ Lizzy And The Palm
When we’re brave enough to look; we find each of us has a noble dream. To that end we set goals to accomplish and track the progress, because we know there’s a larger vision to move towards. In that endeavor it can be easy to let the destination cloud the blessed way of falls, hurdles and redirections.
This is what makes setting out to uncharted territory so exciting, however our self preservation isn’t keen on this risky behavior. In response our mind makes up answers keeping us from moving forward. Other times we sense the time is ripe for rest. Sometimes we miss the mark and have to double back. This is all part of the way.
Pride precedes the fall.
Danger lies in assuming we know how it’s all going to unfold. There’s always more work in places we’ve yet to be. Where ever we are; this moment has never been and so shall never be again. Though we might feel that we are not where we had pictured, let us remember our path is nonlinear. We can embrace these new routes to discover what endless opportunities may be lurking ‘round the bend.
Wooo! Amazing!!!
Yess! Thank you.
