Ep. #10 - Perception

When I met Gossip Henry the first thing I noticed were his thick glasses and the pistols tattooed on his hips. It was a pleasure to sit down and talk about what influences his research and how Gossip Henry uses fashion to express what words can’t. I learned the journaling method GH uses to conceive ideas for projects, and how those projects keep the ball rolling. GH’s most recent moc editorial from last week is inspired by clothing brand Praying.

GH spent a year in LA before moving to NY in 2022. Growing up in Portland GH worked at Stacy House; a label ubiquitous with the underground. He started at Stacy House at 15 as a design intern and by 18 was helping manage the brand’s creative direction.
